MY EXPERIENCES

Over my 28 year legal career as a personal injury attorney, I have been privileged to represent hundreds of wonderful individuals and families in their time of need.  Amongst the clients I have represented, a few cases come readily to mind.  Starting with the mother whose three minor children were injured by a careless driver to a family who suffered the death of their beloved grandmother in a complicated motor vehicle accident.  From a father seriously injured by an airboat as he stood on the shores of Lake Kissimmee to a motorcyclist who suffered a serious brain injury when his right of way was violated by a truck.  The hardworking father whose vehicle struck a dump truck which had been carelessly parked across his lane of travel in the middle of the night to the pedestrian hit by a drunk driver.  From a minor child struck by a car while on his bicycle to the elderly woman hit as she crossed the street.  I have handled soft tissue claims, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims.

In most cases, the victims had to deal with issues involving medical bills, future medical care, pain and suffering, lost wages and future impairment to earnings.  Unfortunately, what all of my clients wanted was a magic wand to transport them back in time so that they could avoid the accident.  Realistically, all my clients could hope for was fair and reasonable compensation from a judicial system that requires zealous, aggressive advocacy.

It is my belief that I not only met my clients’ goals, but exceeded their expectations.  I would welcome the chance to discuss your claim, and your goals, so that I might have the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

ABOUT ME

Raymond N. Seaford was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was raised in Tampa. The native Floridian graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 1983 and completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of South Florida, where he received the Honors Distinction along with his Bachelor of Science in 1988.   For his graduating class at USF Mr. Seaford was selected by the University as its most outstanding senior. Mr. Seaford received his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1992.

Mr. Seaford is a civil trial attorney whose practice areas focus primarily in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith litigation, insurance coverage disputes and appellate law.

Mr. Seaford has obtained significant Florida personal injury recoveries for his clients throughout his almost twenty four year legal career. This resulted in the Tampa personal injury lawyer being accepted as a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in this prestigious organization is limited to those attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of their clients. Mr. Seaford has also obtained multiple favorable appellate decisions on behalf of his clients, either affirming their favorable verdicts or overturning unfavorable decisions.

In addition to being a Florida injury lawyer, Mr. Seaford is admitted to practice in Georgia.  Mr. Seaford is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) and the Hillsborough County Bar Association amongst several other legal organizations.

Mr. Seaford is an active member of the Hyde Park United Methodist Church in Tampa, Florida.  Mr. Seaford also has served as an adjunct professor at the Ybor Campus of Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida, teaching in the paralegal program.
